How Neil Used Our Products
The car is a BMW E60, "individual", meaning lots of personalised extras with a gorgeous blue paint called "Le Mans Blue".
In order to create the glass finish, the following steps where taken.
1.Valet Pro Snow Foam to loosen any dirt etc, the entire body and under body was done. Left the snow foam to settle and do its thing for about 3 mins and then washed it down with clean water. Any tar etc was removed using Valet Pro Citrus Tar & Glue Remover. Door sills and underbody etc all pre-cleaned using Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner and Meguiar’s Super Degreaser.
2.Once the car was jet washed down, it was then washed using a two bucket system using Meguiar’s Shampoo Plus and Meguiar's Deep Pile Microfiber Wash Mitt.
3.Dried vehicle down using Meguiar’s Water Magnet Drying Towel and final drying using a professional dryer / blower (Atom) to get rid of any surplus water from head lamp, doors sills etc.
I then applied the Meguiar’s 205 Ultra Finishing Polish with a 4" cutting pad and the Meguiar’s DA Polisher, I had small amounts of Haze and swirls, this done the job, take your time and the results show.
4.Now using Dodo Juice Lime prime, applied it using a Swiss ax Wax applicator, perfect combo, came off very easily too. Once the entire car was done, "panel by panel" only, it was time to apply the next stage...
5.Again using the Swiss ax applicator, I used the Supernatural Machine Stick, now I know you should use a DA for this, but why? Perfect combo with a wax applicator pad and it’s worked a treat. Applied the Supernatural product to one side of the car at a time, allowing just a little more than 5 min dry time prior to buffing off using the Zero Scratch Microfibre Buffing Fleece from Gtechniq.
6.Allowed the car to sit and cure for about 30 mins, (it was a warm day) and then applied the Dodo Juice Red Mist, this again only took a little over 30 mins to finish the car, results are amazing. I actually sprayed Red Mist on a Zero Scratch Microfibre Buffing Fleece and then quickly applied it to the car, better control of the spray and spread.
7.Once the bodywork was done, I moved over to the wheels, they had been wash and cleaned using a very well diluted Meguiar’s Wheel Brightener, dried the wheels using the Atom Dryer and then applied Gtechniq C5 Alloy Wheel Armour followed by Dodo Red mist for extra protection.
8.Tyre walls finished using Swissvax Pneu, not too glossy and not too dull as a finish.
9.All other black trim was topped up using Valet PRO Dionysus Trim Glitz, cleans well leaving a factory look and finish.
10.Finally, glass was cleaned and polished using Dodo Juice Supernatural Glass Polish, very easy to apply using a Microfibre cloth and polishes off very quickly leaving a super shine and finish.
