How Dereck Used Our Products
Welcome to the oversized world of the 2000 Ford Excursion, 6.8 litres (415ci) of V10 giving 310hp and 425lb/ft of torque power this 7200lb behemoth returning eye watering fuel consumption in single digits. with room for eight passengers, 1500lb payload, 4 wheel drive and a 10,000lb towing capacity it's just the vehicle for an emergency trip to the grocery store to pick up a quart of milk or loaf of bread.
To keep the outstanding shine on this vehicle I first wash off any road dirt with Meguiars Gold Class shampoo leathering it dry afterwards. Then I get to work with a clay bar, some Scratch X and ultimate compound to reduce small scratches and swirls. Then it's on with the Deep Crystal polish followed by a coat of NXT Tech 2 wax. I clean the white lettering on the tires with a brillo pad before applying Meguiars high gloss tire gel. To mainatin the shine I use Ultimate Quick detailer between waxes and the full treatment every six months.
