How Torgut Used Our Products
This car has been in the family for a very long time. It has sat pretty much exposed to the elements for most of its life. Being new to Detailing, the Bug was a great challenge to get my teeth into.
A lot of work is needed but I made a start.
Began with a good de-grease and wash with Autoglym Shampoo + Conditioner.
Clay Bar used over most of the car.
There were a lot of swirls all over the car. Used Gtechniq P1 for this as it's not too harsh, goes on/comes off really well. Used my DA polisher with Menzerna pads. It pretty much done the trick without having to use any other cutter.
I chose to use Autoglym's Extra Gloss Protection instead of a Carnauba wax. Wanted to see the finish it would give on a black car.
Very impressed - applies really easily, and comes off to give a smooth glide. I did also use a quick liquid Carnauba wax from 3M. This was also very good on a black car but did feel a bit oily.
Tried Gtechniq T1 for the rubbers and trims for the first time. It was simply great. Gave a very deep black finish.
Tyres dressed with Autoglym.
