How Alexander Used Our Products
When I bought the car it had been sat outside for a year, covered in sap and who knows what else - it looked filthy! First I washed the car with an Autoglym microfibre PPC (basically scrubbing the dirt off), and a few buckets worth of Autoglym shampoo conditioner diluted in hot water. I dried it with an old chamois and used the Autoglym clay bar kit with rapid detailer on everything (including the glass and headlamps).
I then applied Autoglym HD Cleanser to the paintwork to remove any remaining contaminants then applied by hand the Bilt-Hamber Cleanser-Polish to the paintwork, metalwork and alloys. All looking good, I applied the HD wax to the paintwork and wheels (2 coats). AG Car Glass Polish to the windows. Everything made such a difference, the car's been revitalised! Everything was done by hand and while parked in a residential street (no hose, no driveway!).
I have purchased a few Gtechniq products and a polisher to polish it (~£100 the lot) and am saving up for the new Gtechniq C1+ kit so I will strip everything back (this was all done in December and the car is still shiny, but still...!) and try to restore the paintwork and make it temporarily invincible!
