How Craig Used Our Products
Car was snowfoamed with Cherry foam,
Washed with Car Pro Snow Soap and Car Pro Mitt
Then decontaminated with Iron X, Tar X and then clayed with Bilt-Hamber Auto Clay Soft and Autosmart Reglaze.
All the nooks and crannies tended to with G101 and an envy brush.
Repainted areas showing a fair old amount of paint around 370 microns.
Taped up and ready for the fun part, Wet sanded with 1500grit on a block, 2000 grit by hand, 3000 by trizact and 4000 by mirka. Both on the Air DA.
Sanding marks polished out with Festool Rap 150 rotary, 3M orange pads, and different areas required different compounds so 3M fast cut plus, Scholl S3 Gold and Rupes Zephir were all used in the first stage.
Second stage with Meguiar’s M101 to remove the hologramming from the compounds, with a 3rd stage of M205 to sharpen the finish then switched to the Festool Rotex with a 110ppi foam pad and 3M ultrafina for increased gloss.
Wiped down with Car Pro eraser to remove oils and Spies hecker 7010 silicone remover before the paintwork was coated with CQuartz Finest.
Wheels removed, cleaned and protected with Cquartz UK, this has a flourocarbon in the coating to resist waterspotting so perfect for gloss black wheels.
Arches and calipers steam cleaned and protected with Cquartz DLUX.
Tyres dressed with Autosmart HighStyle.
Windows polished with Car Pro Ceriglass and sealed with Gtechniq G1.
Rubbers revived with Swissvax seal feed.
Engine bay cleaned with Autosmart Vortex and G101. Dressed with Autosmart Finish.
Exhausts polished with Britemax final shine. (This is the only TTRS on UK roads with anodised black tips. Custom made)
Interior, Carpets & Mats cleaned with Brisk low foam and Autosmart Vortex.
Leather cleaned with Gliptone gentle leather cleaner, then gently by steam and coated with CarPro Fabric and Leather.
Final Wipedown with Car Pro Reload to add water resistance and chemical resistance while the Cquartz Finest is able to cure underneath.
130+ hours of work.
