How James Used Our Products
First of all I give the car a pre-wash with the snow foam, allowing it a few minutes to dwell before rinsing it off. If I'm cleaning the engine bay then I will have that open and snow foam the engine as well.
Once the snow foam has had time to work and been thoroughly rinsed off then I wash the car using the MG Ultimate wash and wax. I do this using a 2 bucket method and the Meguiar's Lambs wool wash mitt. Prior to rinsing if off I clean all the badges and 'hard to reach' areas with APC and agitate with a brush. I then thoroughly rinse the car off and dry it with a large soft drying towel.
I then prep the paint by first going over it with the Autosmart tar remover then by using the Meguiar's Scratch-X, doing one panel at a time. Next comes the Collinite wax and then a polish with either the Autoglym Super Resin Polish or the Bilt-Hamber Auto Balm.
The glass is all then cleaned with the Meguiar's Glass cleaner and then polished with the Autoglym Glass polish. Finally the wheels are cleaned with Autoglym Clean wheels and Machine and engine cleaner (the build of brake dust is horrendous!) and then the tyres coated with the Meguiar's Endurance Gel.
The exhaust and all metal work is then polished with the Autoglym metal polish.
Occasional cleaning is;
- Interior with the MG Vinyl and rubber protector
- Engine using the MG Engine Deg and Dresser
- Chassis cleaned with Snow Foam, AG Machine cleaner and MG APC
