How Graeme Used Our Products
This is my Friends 2008 BMW 3 series, ex-lease car that has done a lot of motorway miles and used for mounting biking and camping. So he had issues with the boot loading area, recently resprayed front and rear bumpers from car park dinks and catching the bumper on a rock.
So firstly we got the layer of dirt off the car but rinsing then snow foaming the car. We left it to dwell for about 20 minutes to let it do its job. We then rinsed it off and washed the car with the 2 bucket method with grit guards and Meguiar’s gold class shampoo.
After drying, we got the Meguiar’s paint restoration kit out and clay bar'd the whole car to give it that soft touch as it was gritty before.
We then unleashed the Meguiar’s G220 DA polishing machine with a Cutting pad and the megs ultimate compound. This took away the surface scratches and also most of the deeper ones. We were carful on the bumpers to ensure that the cutting wasn't as powerful as they have been resprayed to ensure the paintwork would match.
For more stubborn areas we used Meguiar’s scratch x 2.0 to clear that back bumper load area of the majority of the scratches.
We then used the Meguiar’s finishing pad and gold class carnauba wax which help to filling can get rid of the final swirl marks, give the car a glaze and the "Ultimate Finish"
