How Jemima Used Our Products
My Volkswagen polo 9n3 is on airlift suspension, 3 piece Modena racing wheels, as I regularly show the vehicle, but it is a daily driver, I take great care in keeping it at the best possible condition. Every 3-6 months the vehicle will get a full detail done by myself. The process starts with a full wash with Meguiar's GC Shampoo & conditioner, this is followed by removal of any tar on the surface of the car, for this I use Autoglym intensive tar remover, it then gets another shampoo to remove any residue, following from this the car gets a clay bar using the Meguiar's Quik Clay kit. The vehicle then gets a full de-wax using G3 de-waxer, this is then followed on with G3 hard wax paint protection. I will finish off with Autoglym bumper & tyre gel on my tyres as I feel this lasts very well over time.
I use BMW's leather lotion to protect from freeze and external influences on my Ferrari 360 Modena seats, the carpet will be treated with BMW's impregnator, which removes any grime and dirt pushed into the fabric, this is also usable on any other fabric in the interior and it works a treat. I also like to get my henry hoover on the highest setting to remove any remaining dirt.
I generally wash my car on a weekly basis and will give it a good coat of dodo juice wax in between the full detail. The interior is maintained to a high standard, all of which is done by myself.
