How John Used Our Products
This car is my pride and joy, being the workhorse for my family. I run a gardening and dog walking business so you can imagine the amount of time it takes to keep the car looking good! I have also started detailing friends and family member’s cars because of the interest shown in my own car.
I always start by cleaning the wheels using Bilt Hamber Auto Wheel cleaner. Leave this to soak for about 10 mins. Before jet washing off with reduced pressure. Using an angled attachment for the pressure washer all wheel arches are thoroughly cleaned. Before snow foaming I apply Bilt-Hamber Korrosol to remove all metallic particles from the paintwork that come from brake dust etc. After the snow foam process it’s time to get to work with the Bilt-Hamber Auto Clay. I really like this product as works so well with water as the lubricant.
It's now time to wash the car using the two bucket method before moving on to the polishing. I have found nothing that beats Menzerna for ease of use polishing especially when used with the Cyclo orbital dual head polisher. It's a great bit of kit that is so easy to use with fantastic results. Depending on how deep the scratches and swirl marks are I use Menzerna PF2500 with yellow or green pads. The yellow pads are more aggressive. Having achieved the perfect finish i seal the paintwork with Menzerna Power Lock. Really easy to use with hardly any residue.
Before the waxing process i remove all residue from the paintwork with Gtechniq panel wipe. I have used many different waxes over the years but have not found anything to beat R222. It is so easy to apply with great results. To finish the bodywork I applied Zaino Grand Finale Spray seal for the first time and believe it has further enhanced the finish.
The wheels are treated to Chemical Guys Wheel guard to prevent brake dust from eating into the paint and the tyres are sealed with Autoglym Tyre Dressing.
The car is always cleaned on a weekly basis and has the full monty twice a year.
Thanks for looking.
