Car is cleaned weekly with Snowfoam and a two bucket method and finished with Sonax detailing spray to help keep the bodywork protected. Once a year I make sure I polish and wax to keep it looking smart and keep it protected. This year I invested in a dual action polisher which I was really impressed with not only the results but speed of application.
Yearly wash includes: Ultimate Snow Foam and jet wash all round to remove dirt. Wheels washed using Ez wheel brush and small detailing brush. Door sills and panel gaps cleaned with diluted degreaser and detailing brush. Car washed using two bucket method with Bilt-Hamber Autowash shampoo and microfibre wash-mitt before drying with microfibre towel. Body work is then clayed with Bilt-Hamber (medium) before removing swirls using PolishAngel Escalate lotion and Chemical Guys Hexlogic medium pad on the Das-6 dual action polisher. The paint was then sealed with two coats of PolishAngel Master Sealant again using DA and the Chemical Guys ultra-fine black pad before leaving to cure. Glass was polished with Autoglym Glass Polish.
Wheels are then clayed with Bilt-Hamber (medium) and waxed before applying Meguiars tyre gloss. Exhaust polished with wire wool and Autoglym metal polish.
