How Barrie Used Our Products
The use of Hydrate 80 has greatly speeded up the process of retuning areas of my Ford Capri to perfect condition. This is due to the fact that this product gives confidence that the rust will not return. It's so easy to use. Having removed flaking rust so that Hydrate 80 has a firm surface on which to react two applications of this rust converter around 20 minutes apart provides a firm basis to apply primer paint, cellulose putty and after some further preparation a couple of gloss top coats. This is a truly excellent product that I've used for many years and have recommended to a number of people and organisations.
On a number of occasions I've used Autoglyms engine cleaner which I have found does the job well. It was selected because I have used other Autoglyms products which I had used for a number of years and was impressed with the results. So I thought I'd try this product to clean an engine that I'd had stored for a number of years as a spare for my Capri and decided to clean it. Results were very satisfying.
The Autoglym leather products again I have used for a number of years on the leather seats of my Capri and indeed the steering wheel, gear knob, gear lever and handbrake gaiters with excellent results. I am sure treating these items with Autoglym products has kept them in excellent condition. I actually enjoy the annual process of cleaning and feeding the leather on a nice warm evening with the car in the driveway. It's quite therapeutic.
Using the Autoglym bodywork shampoo and conditioner over many years has kept a superb shine on my Ford Capri. Funnily enough I love it when a few days after application it rains because much of the droplets of water run off easily but enough remains for that lovely just washed appearance on gleaming paintwork.
