Hi When I first got my RS3 I clay barred the whole vehicle with the Meguiar’s kit to remove all compounds and over the last year have been building the paintwork up with quality products all purchased from Ultimate finish.. It took me 6hrs to complete the latest clean starting with a high pressure wash with water. Lambswool mitted the wax safe shampoo from Dodo Juice all over top to bottom. Wheels next with autoglyms ph balanced superb custom wheel cleaner. Then rinsed whole car top to bottom with hose not high pressure to minimise spotting. Next dried top to bottom with Meguiar’s quick detailer to remove any contaminants, and brand new Meguiar’s microfibre quality cloths... next Autoglym HD wax leave for 30 mins. Applied with application sponges from Meguiar’s Autoglym Fast Glass next and Dodo Juice window waffle. Finished off with buff from Dodo Juice buffing fur cloth... as smooth as a babies bum.
Wheels last and tyre dressed with Autoglym. After all this another hour hoovering and cleaning interior with autoglym vinyl and rubber care, autoglym leather cleaned and then autoglym leather balmed the Recaro RS3 bucket seats and rear seats. Engine bay then cleaned using the microfibre cloths remaining before binning. A lot of work as usual but as always well worth it! This is a well cherished car...hope you agree.
