How Thomas Used Our Products
When I first purchased the car back in Feb I didn't just buy a car, I bought a project.
The car evidently hadn't been looked after where paintwork is concerned and presumably had a life of "hand car washes",it had deep and light scratches, swirls, scuffs, poorly repainted bumpers and silver aerosol resprayed wheels (no clear coat)!!
I took a risk when I bought the car as I wasn't sure I could bring it back to life.
Firstly I had any irreparable paint damage resprayed by a professional body shop, I then fully DA'd the car, Initially with a Ferecla G3 hard cut compound (flatting the paint with 1500 / 2000 grit where necessary), followed by Meguiars Ultimate compound, then each stage of the Mequiars crystal polish range, I followed this with 3 coats of Hi-Tech yellow wax.
When washing I now use Meguiars Ultimate Wash and Wax alongside the Meguiars Microfiber Wash Mitt.
Lastly, I have repainted the wheels in gloss black.
I have spent many many hours and in fact, many weekends on rectifying my paint and I am still not completely finished but I sure am proud and happy with it.
