How Kyle Used Our Products
Although my Car is only just over a year old I like to give the Car a good cleaning like the one described below every 3 months or so, this clean helps to make all the other weekly washes so much easier!
The first stage for me is to clean the wheels using the Meguiars Hot Rims Cleaner. When it comes to the bodywork I first start by hosing down the Car to get rid of any loose dirt from the paintwork. I then wash the Car from top to bottom using Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo & Conditioner. After this I will rinse the car off by trickling water over the roof of the Car. By using a low water pressure for this stage it means there's less water residue left on the Car when I've finished meaning the drying off stage is easier. I dry the Car using a Meguairs Supreme Shine Microfiber, the sheer size of this cloth means this stage can be done in just a few minutes. I then clay the Car from top to bottom using the Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Kit, this stage is the most important for me as the more effort you put in the easier the rest of the job will be! If there's still any small scratches or swirls in the paintwork I'll use Meguiars Swirl X to remove them. I will then apply Meguiars Gold Class Paste Wax and leave on the Car for around 15 minutes before polishing off. After this I will then apply Poorboys EX-P Sealant and then leave on the Car for around 45 minutes before polishing off using a standard microfiber cloth.
The next stage is to apply the Poorboys Black Hole Show Car Glaze over the Car. This is a new product and step for me but I think it's excellent as it really leaves a deep shine to the finish, it's also extremely easy to apply and remove!
Nearly there! I will then apply Valentine's Concours Carnauba Wax working a small area at a time as it dries extremely quickly, this step really finishes off the bodywork nicely! Finally the last step is to apply some Meguiars Endurance High Gloss Tyre Gel to all 4 tyres!
Job done! :-)
