How James Used Our Products
After the grandchildren decided to use a plastic toy to draw on the car I then set about getting rid of the scratches which were on every panel. So over the next week this is what I did.
- Step 1. I degreased the car using Fairy Liquid.
- Step 2. I then fully clayed the body work.
- Step 3. I then masked off the seals and panel joints and 12" sections on all panels with the 3m masking tape.
- Step 4. I fully machine polished each 12" section at a time using 3M green pad and green compound, then used the yellow pad and compound to remove the scratches left behind by the green then I finished off using the blue pad and polish all 3m stuff.
- Step 5. I then wiped all panels down with white spirits.
- Step 6. I applied the Swissvax Shield to all panels and buffed off with extra fine microfibre buffing cloth 48 hours later I was finished with the body work.
- Step 7. I finished off sealing the wheels and giving them a coat of tyre dressing.
- Step 8. I then cleaned the engine bay.
This was my very first attempt of using a Rotary Polisher and was very pleased with the results
