How Derek Used Our Products
On collecting my new Jaguar F-Type, I asked the dealer not to touch the car. All transport protection was left on so that I could prep and detail the car from scratch myself.
First, I foamed with UF snow foam to loosen any surface contaminants and sprayed R222 Autowash on areas that might have transport wax, as well as arches and wheels. After rinsing the whole car, I then started on the wheels.
Wheels were cleaned with the two bucket method and then Dodo Juice Mellow Yellow, Ferrous Dueller to remove iron fallout and Tardis to remove any tar and sticky glue remains from stickers that had been on the wheels, then fully rinsed.
The bodywork was then washed with Dodo Juice Born to be Mild, using the two bucket method. All badges, grills, under the deployable rear spoiler, etc, were all cleaned with a detailing brush and R222 auto wash.
The car was then pat-dried and I used a metro vac sidekick to get any water droplets out of hard to reach areas.
The wheels were coated with Gtechniq C5 and tyres with two coats of Gtechniq T1 to give extra gloss.
The body work was wiped down with Gtechniq Panel Wipe to ensure it was completely clean before being coated and protected with Gtechniq C2V3 Liquid Crystal. I'm sure you'll agree from the results that this product is amazing!
All plastic (diffuser, splitter, etc) was coated with one coat of Gtechniq T1.
The interior was protected with Gtechniq I1 on the carpets and L1 AB on the leather parts of the seats and dashboard.
I'm over the moon with the end results and can't recommend Gtechniq products enough!
