How Peter Used Our Products
You will have to excuse the gradually darkening pictures, this was all done in one day so went on quite late!
- Step 1 - Apply wheel cleaner, agitate to ensure full coverage and rinse off when done, one wheel at a time.
- Step 2 - Rinse the car off top to bottom, apply a generous layer of snow foam and leave for 5-10 minutes.
- Step 3 - Rinse the car off again, top to bottom. Then hand wash using 2 bucket system.
- Step 4 - Rinse the car off again, top to bottom. Use wooly mammoth drying towel to soak up as much water as possible. Finishing any small bits left with thinner microfibre drying cloth.
- Step 5 - When car is fully dry, clay all required areas (I use latex gloves and detailing spray to test), using the Rapid Detailing as lubrication.
- Step 6 - Cleanse the car using the HD cleaner, applying and buffing off by hand.
- Step 7 - Polish the car using Super Resin Polish, applying and buffing off by hand.
- Step 8 - Wax the car using HD Wax, applying and buffing off by hand.
- Step 9 - Bumper care applied to trim where required. Take care to buff wax/polish/cleanser out as much as possible where you have gone over (this is why I apply bumper care afterwards).
- Step 10 - Clean glass with Car Glass Polish, using a fine brush to remove any residue after buffing off.
- Step 11 - Clean the inner glass with Fast Glass, and the dashboard and interior trim using Interior Valet.
- Step 12 - Give the interior carpets and seats a once over with a hoover and apply carpet cleaning foam to the carpeted areas (i tend to do one section at a time). Agitate the foam in with the supplied brush.
- Step 14 - Give the foam a minute or two to work then go over again with the hoover.
- Step 15 - Apply leather cleaner and work into the leather, remove with a damp microfibre. Leave to dry and apply leather care balm.
- Step 16 - Stand back and try to admire your handiwork, but realise that it is now dark and your neighbours think you are strange!
