How James Used Our Products
I was fortunate to do a car swap for a week so had the use of this 2016 BMW M4 Cab. Having the Competition Pack means some extra power, the 20" wheels and tweaked exhaust along with black badges and grills. My friend uses this as his daily drive so I felt it needed a bit of detailing love whilst in my care.
I had just received some new products from UF so set up the Karcher and gave it an initial rinse. I wanted to get it as clean as possible before actually touching it so used Bilt Hammer Auto Wheel on those lovely (but extremely hard work to clean!) wheels. Doing one at a time, I let the solution get to work and turn deep red before rinsing off.
Then I applied a good amount of UF Snow Foam and let it do its thing for about 5 minutes. This is a great product and I've noticed since using this on my own car which is white, it really does do its job. I then rinsed on the whole car including the wheels again.
Mixing up some Auto Finesse Lather I set about washing by hand with a Meguiars Lambswool Mitt which has become my preferred choice, using a 2 bucket method so as not to add any new swirls. A quick rinse off and I then went over the wheels again using my new Wheel Woolies set. This is the first time I've used these and they were perfect for the M4's alloys which have so many different spokes to clean. And being 20", there's a lot of wheel!
Using more of the UF Microfibre buffing fleeces to dry it off, the paint look in good condition so I applied a small amount of Autoglym Auqa Wax and after buffing this off, I decided on a final coat using the Auto Finesse Finale which really brought out the black.
I finished off with some tyre dressing and did all the side and rear window with an application of Rain-X.
The car looked fantastic when done, just a shame that it won't stay that way for too long.
Hope the pictures do it justice and happy to receive any comments.
