How John Used Our Products
The car is a 1968 Mustang -
First off I gave it a pre-wash using Valet Pro citrus and left to dwell. During this I cleaned the alloys with Valet Pro Bilberry wheel cleaner and cleaned the tyres with Bilt-Hamber Surfex HD to remove dirt and grime and sprayed the arches too.
After rinising off, the car was washed with born to be mild shampoo and rinsed off again including wheels
It was then time for the decontamination stage.
Firstly I used AG tar and glue remover to remover tar spots and then followed up with Bilt-Hamber Korrosol iron remover, once satisfied I began claying the car with born slippy clay lube and a Bilt-Hamber clay bar, following this another wash and rinse and then it wad time to dry the car with drying towels and compressed air.
Once dried I parked it up in the shed ready to be machined polished using Scholl S20 black and Green Hex-logic pads,once completed I used an IPA mix to remove any polishing oils.
Then the glass was polished with Autoglym glass polish and all chrome was hand polished with Autoglym metal polish, time for a coffee then right back into it.
Tyres where sprayed with Autoglym Instant Tyre Shine and left to dry.
It was now time to wax the car, I used 3 layers of Poorboys Nattys Blue Paste Wax applied by hand and buffed off after 15 minutes
