How Robert Used Our Products
The best car shampoos are mild ones but sometimes cost a little more .. well, I use Johnsons Baby Bath as a cheap effective alternative and it works a treat. No alkalis or other additives and if it's good enough for a baby then it's mild enough for paintwork. I always hand wash and NEVER pressure wash! ;)
A gentle clay with Sonus and either Sonus or Meguiars detailing spray for lube and rinse. Dependant on paint condition, I then use my Megs DA Polisher to apply the cutting agents. I swear by the 3M for quick cuts without major damage. I then step down to Menzerna's fine cut/polish, before finishing with Dodo Lime Prime.
Poorboys White Diamond is unbeatable as a pre-wax treatment and leaves the paintwork with a wet look and silky smooth.
I top it all off with R222 100% carnauba wax - the absolute BEST out there for silver paintwork. Silver is such a hard colour to get any 'depth' from but I've found through trial and error that my current cleaning and polishing regime gives near perfect results in my book.
The interior is generally cleaned with a damp cloth and the upholstery is looked after by Gliptone's range of leather care.
