Lotus Carlton
With only 320 produced and all in 'Imperial Green' this iconic Lotus was eagerly snapped up by its new owner at a recent auction and shipped back from Scotland.
It was soon booked in to be restored inside and out including engine detail, wheel refurbishment and leather recolouring .. essentially 'the works'.
Given the age of this vehicle a careful and thorough decontamination was required.

This even included steam cleaning the polish residue which had accumulated around various badges over time.
Once the exterior was clean it was time to work on the interior leather. This looked worn due to age and faded by UV.
After careful cleaning the badly affected areas were sanded by hand to prepare the leather so it would accept the Colourlock black dye ... more info & pics
