Remove Car Paintwork Scratches Without Damaging Surrounding Areas
Even with the utmost care, scratches and swirls inevitably will appear in paintwork. Whilst most paintwork defects can be removed via mechanical methods, many car care enthusiasts prefer working by hand. High priority then, is a scratch removing product that really works when applied by hand, rather than by machine polisher.
After reading online discussions, it became clear that car care enthusiasts were primarily concerned with the tendency of current scratch removers to cause clouding of the paintwork and halos around the areas being worked on. After much research and testing, including examination of other scratch removal products from leading brands, Autoglym developed the Scratch Removal Complete Kit, designed to eliminate scratches and generate an excellent finish.

Kit Contains:
- 100ml Scratch Remover
- 100ml Super Resin Polish
- Hi-Tech Finishing Cloth
- Scratch Removal Applicator
Directions for use:
- Shake Scratch Remover bottle well, then apply two pea-sized drops to the white side of the Scratch Removal Applicator
- Firmly rub the applicator up and down, then side to side, taking care to concentrate on the affected area only
- Check results every 20 - 30 seconds
- Apply additional product and continue to rub until appearance of scratch is either eliminated or greatly reduced
- Continue to rub affected area using light pressure to refine the area to a gloss
- Remove residue using clean microfibre
- Polish the area and the rest of the vehicle using Super Resin Polish to produce a complete, high-gloss finish
N.B. Not all defects can be completely eliminated - some deeper scratches may have compromised the lacquer, however, the severity of their appearance can be reduced.
