Nanotechnology For Convertible Hoods & Interior Fabrics.
Protect your interior from coffee, wine, cola, etc, by treating it with I1 Smart Fabric Coat.
Unlike regular coatings the nano particles of I1 coat the individual fibres of fabric, leaving the 'breathability' and feel of the fabric unaffected. The former means that stale air can still escape but at the same time repelling any water or oil based liquids. Being solvent based ensures a much deeper penetration of the active ingredient giving an I1 treated surface much better durability and overall performance. Typically an I1 treated surface will outlast conventional water repellent coatings by a factor of approximately x5 with durability on soft-tops for example, lasting as much as three years.
Features & Benefits:
- Wine, coffee, etc, rolls off the surface with zero staining
- I1 coats each fibre individually for maximum protection
- Texture of fabric remains unaffected allowing it to breathe
- Works well on convertible roofs with great durability
- Lasts up to 3 years!

Good Fabrc Roof Protector
by B Reed, 27 Nov 2016
Certainly IS one of the best fabric roof protectors and I've tried a several. Buy the best you can afford, its a messy job and you don't want to be doing it too often! To get the longest lasting result thorough cleaning before is important and must be left at least overnight to dry thoroughly. Before Smart Fabric Coat is applied. Just before use one of those lint rollers (cleaning tends to cause static attracting lots of annoying bits). Be prepared to tape off adjacent paintwork or apply a good/thick coat of cheap wax to 'protect the paint from the smart Fabric Over Spray and buff this off with any overspray. There will be some even when it is applied on a windless day. You really should tape off and cover the rear window glass with newspaper, its a devil to clean afterwards if you don't. Have some glue and tar remover handy for the windows. as a previous review states this product doesn't go as far as you might think. You'll need one and a quarter litres for a medium size roof.

Gtechnic products really do work I wanted to protect my car seats and carpet before they had chance to get dirty so I choose the I1 for the job, after an initial application of Gtechniq W2 to prep the seats I applied the I1 using the spay nozzle supplied. I also used some on a pair of walking boots. After they had dried I wanted to see what would happen if they got wet so I put them under the tap and the water just beaded up and rolled off. So I am confident my cars interior is going to be well protected.
Pefect fabric protectoin

This is really easy to apply to your cars interior and is a must if you have kids as spills just wipe up, no stains! 2 coats on a convertible roof after a thorough clean and dry and its amazing seeing the water just roll off the fabric roof. Its durability is the real reason gtechniq is a winner. Highly recommended.
A Good Fabric Roof Protector

I use this Smart Fabric Coat for fabric roofs as the final stage after cleaning and drying. It seems to live up to the claims in its protection role. For fabric roofs I cannot give it 5 stars only because the manufacturer recommends a spray application - overspray onto paintwork, windows etc is unavoidably as you endeavour to apply the product thoroughly to every edge/seam. Choose to use it on a windless day at least unless you are prepared to mask off surronding paintwork, windows etc as any oversray is not exactly quick to remove. You will need just over a litre of the product to treat a medium sized roof.
