A Break-Through In Paint Correction Technology.
P1 is a very different kind of polish, and the only polish you'll ever need for regular paintwork correction. P1 produces a great finish both by machine and by hand.
Breakthroughs in nano-structured composite materials have resulted in the development of a uniform abrasive particle on the nanoscopic scale, resulting in a polish that requires almost no lubrication.
Features & Benefits:
- Reduced speed / effort - with many more active particles working the surface, the polish works faster with less effort than traditional compound abrasives.
- No fillers - with virtually no lubricant, a P1 finish doesn't suffer "drop back". This is where the lubricants or fillers in a traditional polish hide minor imperfections, typically micro scratches in the polished surface. These usually reappear after the vehicle's first wash as the lubricants / fillers are washed off. With P1 what you see is what you get.
- Friction build-up - smaller active particle size means less friction, so the surface doesn't heat up as much as with conventional abrasives. This reduces the likelihood of burning through paint. It also allows for making several passes over the same area to remove stubborn scratches, without fear of over-polishing.

I bought this to learn how to use a DA without too much risk.
Very pleased with results and no burnt paint; exactly as promised and very reasonable price, too.

Like Martin, used Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Scratch X in the past to renovate old car paintwork, and eventually would get a good result. After claying and removing a full tablet of dross, tried P1 with my GA220 on my coveted classic Mini s-Works, and wow! Within minutes had a fantastic shine even on some areas that were badly marked and giving it a new appearance and with no holograms. Will now use with confidence on my new Disco XXV for its new paint prep and nano-coating. Shame, as I was fancying the RUPES system but can't justify it now.

I used this by hand, you need to work it hard and spraying a mist of water helps (as Gtechniq web video advises) Seems nicer to use than Meguiar's Ultimate compound; that's the only thing I have to compare it too. By hand gets rid of lighter swirls but deeper ones still there if you look closely but then I guess you need a DA for that. Does give a nice shine too

Just used p1 with a DAS6 on a brand new tt. Surface scratches on bonnet removed easily. I am new to machine polishing so was very wary on using both on new car, excellent results, would give this polish 100 stars if i could.
