Just what we needed

Some months after transferring our archives (some 200 boxes) into the cellar of a different location, we noticed that the air seemed rather damp. A small hygrometer confirmed that humidity was well above the recommended range. We purchased this model and found that it effectively removed the excess moisture. At first we emptied it twice a day, but now it cuts in only rarely, and the humidity remains at around 50 to 55 percent. Easy to use, quiet and economical in operation and unobtrusive in design.

I bought one 4 years ago for my garage and it has worked flawlessly ever since - no damp at all - no more rusty tools or mushrooms. When I built a much larger unheated workshop in the garden, I needed more humidifiers - there was only one choice - I bought two of these units and they have done a grand job. They are very reliable and I'd recommend them to anyone. They work well in Scotland where the workshop temps drop to below freezing in winter.
