How Murray Used Our Products
My car is a totally immaculate series 1 Audi TT Quattro 225 to which it has been cherished all her life. I have used various products in the past, Mer, Turtle wax and Autoglym to mention a few.
When I bought R222 I thought here is another manufacturer claiming miracles, one word 'wow' it really does what it say's on the tin. I just followed the instructions the rest was easy.
On saying that I am an ex former British Arm wrestling Champion. Yes, you must put a bit of effort in, you'll need at least a whole afternoon to do it right.
Body Conditioning Shampoo first, then the cleanser to remove the years of inferior polish and waxes. Then finally get the Carnauba Wax on that's the easy bit it goes on and off a dream, not the white chalky residue to get on the rubbers from other waxes, then building it up in thin layers a couple does it and buff it off, that is it.
I have only done it once so far and it has lasted Brilliantly. Taking that into account the R222 actually will work out cheaper in the long run than the cheaper liquid brands.
I am fortunate that the car only covers about 4000 miles a year and is garaged, therefore doesn't need the same waxing.
In my earlier years I showed a MK1 Golf GTi, I won various show 'n' shine events up and down the country and it was featured in 'Golf Extreme' Magazine. Oh dear! the amount of hours wasted waxing if I had R222 then I would of spent more time on the road cruising.
Mind you it did make me fit and strong all that waxing that's probably helped me achieve the final rounds of 'Gladiators Television series in 1995' now I am really showing my age.
