How Andrew Used Our Products
The XK8 is my daily drive so it is a continuous project keeping it in the condition I like. I do about 12K miles a year, it had 24K miles on it when I bought it privately 2 years ago.
I was the car regularly during the year using the 2 bucket method and Meguiar's NXT car wash.
So each spring after the last of the salt has been used on the roads I give it a deep clean using the two bucket method and Meguiar's NXT car wash then clay bar the whole car to remove tar and any ingrained dirt that has accumulated over the winter months.
Using a Meguiar's Juice machine polisher and a combination of pads and cutting compounds I remove swirls and fine blemishes until the paintwork is ready for waxing.
In the past I have used Meguiar's Juice Banana Armour Carnauba Wax and I have been pleased with the results, however I got a sample of R222 Carnauba wax and wow what a difference and so easy to apply.
