How Gary Used Our Products
My 911 Carrera is one of the earlier air-cooled 3.6 litre engines, it is in Guards red and has been cared for all its life.
I started by washing it with "Autoglym shampoo and conditioner" using a new good quality foam sponge and dried it off with a leather. Step two was to apply the Meguiars "Quick detailer" which came with the "Smooth surface clay kit" as a Christmas present from my wife.
I was a "clay virgin" until now but was truly amazed by the smooth mirror surface of the paint, I thought the car looked good before the treatment but this has to be the ultimate finish.
The next step was to protect the paint with Meguiars cleaner wax, which was easy to apply and buff up with a micro fibre cloth.
To complete the finishing touches I cleaned the hood with Autoglym Fabric Hood Kit, and the used their Vinyl & Rubber care on all the trim area, a quick spray of tyre foam on the Bridgestone rubber and the car looked terrific.
