How Mark Used Our Products

A friend phoned me up to tell me he had bought himself a new car that needed "a little work", as luck has it the car was at our friends garage having a once over and a service so I'd be working from there.

I turned up to find a Land Rover Discovery 3 that was looking more like it had spent its life being driven through hedges and being cleaned with wire wool and half a house brick, but hey ho, up for a challenge.

• Snow foamed and rinsed twice
• Dodo Juice Born To Be Mild and two buckets method
• Dodo Juice Born Slippy and Supernatural medium clay

At this point I wanted to use Meguiar’s ultimate compound, but didn't think there was enough left in the bottle to complete the job, so turned Meguiar’s #105 ultra cut compound and the dodo juice cutting pads.

For anyone that's going to do a Land Rover Discovery 3 the smaller 3.5" spot pads are a must, and you'll be surprised just how much of the car you'll end up using them on.

Anyway... Got some great results with the #105, so backed that up with the excellent combination of Meguiar’s #205 ultra finishing polish and Dodo juice green polishing pads. Now a quick wipe down with some Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite and it was time for some Dodo Juice Supernatural Wax (the same as the new Iroko wood edition however this was from when it was first released a few years back).

I've not put any product on the plastics as they were actually looking quite good so said friend asked me to leave them as is.

Hey presto, well gone midnight, something like 14 1/2hrs and half a jar of coffee later it was looking like it should, the only problem now is the stone chips are really obvious, that and there's still a couple of very deep scratches which I'm not happy with and going to have another go at a later date.
