How Naseer Used Our Products
Honda Civic Type R – Nighthawblack
STEP 1 – SNOW FOAM
Light pre-rinse was applied to the car before applying a layer of snow foam. The snow foam used was Autobrite Magifoam through an Autobrite Snow Foam Lance. Half an inch of snow foam was used with the remainder of the bottle filled with warm water. This mixture allowed for two applications of snow foam to the whole car. Dwelling time for each pass was 5 minutes.
STEP 2 – WHEELS AND WASH
All four wheels were sprayed with a layer of Wax-Tec Fall Off V2, allowing time for the product to contact with the brake dust and start bleeding, in order to pull the brake dust off with ease. Whilst the Fall-Off was working on the wheels, the whole car was washed using Meguiar’s Gold Class Shampoo, using a two bucket method and a Large Lambs wool wash mitt. The wheels were attended to again as they had now bled as much as possible, a final step was added to agitate the brake dust to ensure all brake dust would be removed. A rinse down to the whole car was provided including the wheels which provided a good finish to start the prep work before swirl removal after being dried with a Plush Blue Drying Towel.
STEP 3 – CLAY-BAR
Before the claying process started the bottom layer of the car was sprayed with Wax-Tec Fall Off V2 to remove any additional contaminants which may not have budged with a wash. This step was also used to reduce the time and effort on the claying stage. Again a detailing brush was used to agitate on all skirts and bumpers when carrying out this step. A rinse was applied before claying the car. The next step of claying the car then took place using Meguiar’s Clay Bar and Autoglym Rapid Detailer.
Once clayed the car was rinsed down with water and then dried using a large microfiber drying towel.
STEP 4 – POLISH & WAX
Meguiar’s Diamond Cutting Pad was used with the Autobrite Restore Correction Polish on the car and then topped off with Autobrite Anti Hologram Polish. After the paint correction stage I used the following products to achieve the ultimate shine in the following order:
- Poorboys Black Hole –applied by machine polish
- Meguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0
- Poorboys Nattys Paste Wax Blue
For the final touch the tyres were dressed with Meguiar’s Endurance High Gloss Tyre Gel, and windows cleaned with Autoglym Fast Glass
