How Rob Used Our Products
A Caterham does present some different challenges, particularly with the exposed suspension components. For the suspension, I use Autoglym Engine and Machine Cleaner, worked in with a Valet PRO sash brush, rinse thoroughly, then a spray of Autoglym Instant Show Shine for a great finish.
Clean the car with Meguiar's Gold Class shampoo, 2 Grit Guard buckets and a Meguiar's wash mitt.
I love Bilt-Hamber Soft Clay, then Meguiar's Ultimate Compound, followed by Meguiar's Ultimate Polish, both applied with my Dodo Juice DA with Orange and Green fin pads. Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid wax to finish. (For my maintenance washes I simply dry the car with Auto Glym Aqua Wax after washing, an amazing product and so quick and easy).
Another challenge of the Caterham is the metal. Meguiar's NXT All Metal Polish looks after this and is used on my alloy wheels as well.
Autoglym Window Polish helps keep the tiny windscreen in good order, while Meguiar's Ultimate Polish removes the scratches from the plastic windows of the hood and side screens.
The hood, boot cover and side screens gets the Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber care to keep in nice and black and the tyres are finished with Meguiar's Endurance which lasts for weeks.
I think that's about it on the outside.....
