How Bob Used Our Products
My Jag was due another detail, and this time it was for Waxstock with the hope of getting into the arena for arrive and shine. I spent 4 days on the car in all, using a friends unit to get my car wheels off and have an indoor working area due to sunlight, dust, outdoor contaminants etc.
Started off snow foaming the car to lift off dirt and dust before a 2BM wash and rinse. Snowfoamed again and clayed using Bilt Hamber clay before an Aqua Gleam pure water rinse and pat dry. Put the car inside the unit and dried. Got it up on the ramps, wheels off for deep cleaning and sealing with GTechniq C5 wheel armour, but this was for later. Jaguar clearcoat is butter soft so I had a number of marks from washing and QD'ing which needed polishing out. Once I read my paint depths and put lights on the car, I was ready to remove defects using Scholl S3 XXL on an Orange Hexlogic pad on my Rupes LHR15ES polisher.
The car was corrected in a day and a half before refinement using CSP No3 Ultra Perfection and Menzerna Super Finish 3800 polishes on a white Hexlogic pad to give an ultra glossy deep mirror shine. Once finished, the car was ready for sealing with CSP Nano sealant. Had I had longer I would have ceramic coated it, but having just bought some Nanolex Si3D since detailing it, I will be coating it with this later in the year. Wheels cleaned, polished and sealed, tyres dressed, windows cleaned and nano treated, arches cleaned, exhausts polished, interior cleaned and protected with Gyeon Q2 Leathercoat and CSP Nano Fabric applied to carpets which allows water to bead off the fabric.
The car looked stunning and I made it into the Waxstock arena.
