How Thomas Used Our Products
Firstly I rinsed the car down to remove all loose dirt and grime. The bodywork was then washed using the two bucket method with Meguiar's Shampoo Plus and an Easirider Lambswool Wash Mitt. I cleaned around the badges, aerial, door shuts, fog lamps and scuttle panel area with Raceglaze Detailing Brushes.
Finally, I rinsed off all the suds and inspected the paintwork for bonded contaminants. I found plenty of tar spots so I applied Autosmart Tardis liberally to each panel and then left it for a minute or two to work before wiping the panels down with an old microfibre towel and then rinsing off.
Then I moved the car into my storage shed and dried it off with a couple of Poorboy's Waffle Weave Towels (one of my best purchases for sure). I checked the paint and found the lower panels were still feeling a little bit rough so I clayed them using a Meguiar's Quik Clay Kit. To be honest not much obvious contamination came off but the paint certainly felt smoother afterwards.
The seek advice section on your website was a great help here! I then used Menzerna 85RE as the final polish, and subsequently wiped down the entire car with Meguiar's Last touch to remove any remaining polish residue. Then buffed the whole car with a Luxury Buffing Towel. I then used Bentley Hide food for the leather.
