Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio NRING Edition – New Car Protection

2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Nürburgring Edition finished in Matte Circuit Grey.

Created to fulfil the dreams of the true enthusiast and inspired by the category lap record of 7 minutes 32 seconds, set on the legendary German track, the Giulia Quadrifoglio NRING was made in limited numbers – Alfa only produced 108 numbered units to celebrate their 108 year history. Unique equipment and stylistic elements, like its matte Circuit Grey finish, make it a true collector’s item. The Giulia Quadrifoglio NRING displays its strong personality through clean lines and essential design, distinguished by key elements such as carbon fibre inserts. The extensive use of carbon fibre for the hood, sunroof, rear spoiler, sideskirts, front V-Grille and mirror caps, lends it an extraordinary sporty character in unmistakable Alfa Romeo style.

Summary:
Delivered direct from Alfa Romeo to UF Studio (fittingly located at Brands Hatch Race Circuit!) with the factory markings still in place, work commenced on the lengthy but essential decontamination and cleaning processes. Once clean, the car was appraised and two areas highlighted that would require machine polishing; the piano gloss black B-pillars and the fibreglass wing mirrors. Both were corrected using a RUPES LHR75 Mini with Menzerna 2400 Medium Cut Polish on a RUPES Yellow pad.

All surfaces were treated with Nanolex EX residue remover prior to the application of the final sealants. For the Matte grey paint an initial coat of Nanolex Si3D BC was applied. Nanolex Si3D BC is a semi-hydrophobic coating incorporating many of the benefits of modern ceramic coatings but with one key feature: flexibility, making it the perfect base coat. After allowing Si3D BC to cure for one hour, Nanolex Si3D Matte, a ceramic coating specifically designed to protect matte paint finishes without adding gloss was applied.

The gloss black wheels Kamikaze Collection Stance was applied. Using state-of-the-art technology, Stance Rim Coat combines unique components that, once cured, form a slick, heat resistant barrier that repels water, dirt, oils and grime as well as inhibiting the build-up of brake dust. Treated rims maintain gloss and are easier to clean during the weekly wash.
