Gtechniq covers ceramic and hydrophobic coatings, paint protection, fabric protection and tyre and trim protection. Products such as C1 Crystal Lacquer and the Crystal Serum Light and EXO kit protect against UV, road grime, bird lime and acid rain while adding incredible gloss.

Anywhere from 4–6 months for spray-on sealants up to several years for professionally applied coatings. Durability depends on a safe wash routine: pre-wash, snow foam, Grit Guards and careful drying.

A 30ml bottle usually covers most cars. A 50ml bottle suits larger vehicles or multiple layers.

Partly. A coating adds a harder, slicker layer that resists light marring, but grit and sand are harder still and can scratch if rubbed in. The big benefit is that the hydrophobic surface helps rinse dirt away before it’s touched.
