RUPES has led the way in power tool technology for decades from its base in Vermezzo, Italy, where many of its machines are still made. In 2008 it launched the first dual action polisher with a large throw, and the BigFoot range that followed changed machine polishing.
The BigFoot range
The original LHR21 (21mm throw) and LHR15 (15mm throw) have grown into a full line-up, including the LHR15 Mark III, the gear-driven Mille, the cordless HLR75 mini polisher and the iBrid Nano, which switches between dual action and rotary for the tightest areas.
Matched pads and compounds
RUPES pads and polishes are designed around the motion of its machines. Blue coarse pads cut heavy defects fast, yellow fine pads refine to a high gloss, and microfibre pads give extra bite for heavier jobs. The BigFoot DA System brings it all together.

Rupes FAQs
The LHR15 Mark III is a great all-rounder for most detailers. Add an LHR75 or iBrid Nano for smaller panels and tight areas.
It’s not essential, but RUPES pads and compounds are designed for the large-throw motion and give the best, most consistent results.
