How Darren Used Our Products

Due to it been a hot sunny day I decided to start with the interior of the car, so after a good vac, using a Halfords Microfiber cloth I cleaned all the seats and Dashboard with Autoglym Leather Cleaner, then wiped with Autoglym Leather Balm. I then hosed down the rubber car mats and sprayed them with tyre foam and left them to dry in the sun. I then gave the windows a clean with Turtle Wax glass cleaner. Again due to the hot sun I started on the wheels, I removed them one at a time and, using an old car sponge and car shampoo washed them on both sides, then cleaned them (again both front and back) with Autoglym Clean Wheels, I found out then that the previous owner (I have not had the car very long) had gone through some wet tar and it was stuck to the inside of the wheels, so I got my Autoglym tar remover and cleaned them, once clean I sprayed them with Autoglym Wheel Protector.

The next day I started by giving the car a good covering of UF Snow Foam using my Karcher Snow Foam Lance, while that was running off I got two buckets of warm water ready, one containing clear water and one with my Grit Guard and Autoglym Bodywork shampoo. Using my Halfords wash mitt I started with the roof and worked my way around the car, rinsing frequently with my hose pipe to stop it drying. When finished I used my R222 Drying Towel to dry the car. I then inspected the car for and Insects and Tar and wiped clean with my Autoglym Insect/tar remover.

Next I cleaned all the external trim with Autoglym Bumper and trim Gel.

It was then time to treat the car with colour coded Turtle Wax T-Cut, this was done to remove swirl marks and minor scratches.

Next came the R222 100% Carnauba Wax, this was applied using the application sponge that is supplied in the tub I treated one panel at a time, it was removed using one of my Autoglym Hi-tech finishing clothes. I gave the windows a clean using Rain-X Cleaner and water repellent. Last but not least I gave the tyres a spray with Autoglym Instant Tyre dressing.
