Audi TT RS Roadster – 1-Stage Gloss Enhancement
Audi’s new TT RS Roadster is the fastest, most powerful convertible TT to date. The Roadster replaces the coupe’s fixed metal roof with a folding fabric item, which can be lowered or raised in seconds up to 31mph. The five-cylinder, 2.5 litre turbo engine develops a massive 394bhp with 354lb ft of torque ready at just 1700rpm. Drive is sent to all four wheels through a seven-speed twin clutch gearbox using a quattro four-wheel drive system that can send 100 per cent of torque to either axle. The RS records an impressive supercar territory 0-62mph time of 3.9 seconds.

Summary:
This 2018 example finished in Nardo Grey was booked in for a 1-Stage Gloss Enhancement. Once clean and dry, the paintwork was inspected under high-intensity lighting to reveal wash-induced swirls and a few light scratches. Multiple paint depth readings were taken on each panel to gauge paint thickness. The paintwork was corrected and refined using a RUPES LHR 12E BigFoot Duetto with RUPES UHS Easy Gloss Compound on the matched UHS Foam Pads. For the door panels, the angular body trim near the bottom required a RUPES LHR 75E Mini to get into the tight curves.
All surfaces were treated with Nanolex EX residue remover prior to the application of the final sealant. Kamikaze Collection ENREI Coat delivers superior protection, its performance lies not only in its engineering but also in the application method. For both No.1 Base Coat Primer and No.2 Top Coat, Kamikaze Collection spent hours researching and testing different ways of applying the layers to ensure optimum results. Ambient air temperature and humidity also have to be kept within certain levels and the coatings must be allowed to remain in those conditions until they have cured. ENREI is available only as a service through the Kamikaze Collection trained and certified detailer network.
Kamikaze Collection Stance was applied to the diamond cut wheels. Using state-of-the-art technology, Stance Rim Coat combines unique components that, once cured, form a slick, heat resistant barrier that repels water, dirt, oils and grime as well as inhibiting the build-up of brake dust. Treated rims maintain gloss and are easier to clean during the weekly wash.
