How Martin Used Our Products
This is my RS6+ which I acquired in April this year - the previous owner kept the car mechanically very sound but apart from the odd polish the paintwork had not really been touched since new.
After the car was initially washed with Meguiars and towel dried the paintwork was then treated with Maguiars paint cleaner followed by over 20 hours elbow grease with the Bilt Hamber Auto Clay which lifted no end of embedded dirt, marks and other debris.
The car was then foam soaked, agitated where necessary, rinsed and micro fibre towel dried. The three stage Werkstat Acrylic treatment was applied (with three applications of the Acrylic sealer - 30 minutes drying time between each)followed by the Poorboys White Diamond and finally the Meguiars Ultimate liquid wax - leaving it 20 minutes to dry before final polishing.
All the glass also had the Auto Clay treatment and was finished with Autoglym glass polish - then the the black optics also got the clay treatment prior to application of the Mothers Back to Black.
Next job was to get the wheels off and vigorous use of the 3M Wheel & Tyre Cleaner followed by a repeat of the Meguiars paint cleaner/Auto Clay treatment followed by the SmartWax Rim Wax with the tyres finished off with Meguiars Endurance High Gloss Gel.
Finally after about 36 hours of work in total the exterior looked as shown in the photographs - and my polishing shoulder was in need of a rest - next time I will invest in a polishing machine!
