How Andrew Used Our Products
There was a lot of marring, swirls and holograms on the paintwork. I started by cleaning the engine bay and door shuts with AG Machine Degreaser, VP Citrus Pre Wash and agitated with a VP Sash Brush before pressure washing off and dressing with AG Vinyl & Rubber Care.
The car was then Snow Foamed using Ultimate Snow Foam in a pressure washer lance, rinsed, 2BM wash with G-Wash and Incredimitt and dried with Purple Monster Drying Towels. The car was then decontaminated using Iron-X and VP Citrus Tar & Glue Remover before claying with Bilt-Hamber regular clay with water as the lubricant.
After rinsing and drying, the car was then polished with various combinations of Hexlogic pads and Menzerna polishes using the Meguiar’s G220 V2. After IPA wipe down, the exterior was treated with a single coat of Gtechniq C1 and two coats of EXO v2. The glass was polished using the DA with Ceriglass and a rayon pad before being hand polished with Gtechniq G4 and treated with G1. 3 coats to front and rear screens and 2 to the side glass and mirrors. The exhaust was polished up to a good shine with 000 wire wool and Peek Metal Polish and the wheels cleaned with VP Bilberry Wheel Cleaner, Iron-X and then treated with C5. The silver pillars were hand polished using Menzerna PP Ultra and a Sonus Pad.
The interior was protected with Gtechniq C6 Matte Dash, L1 Leather Coat and I1 Smart Fabric Coat on the carpets and interior glass cleaned with AG Fast Glass.
Finally, the tyres were dressed with 2 coats of VP Classic Tyre Dressing which was dried on after each coat with the Metrovac Sidekick.
Shame there is not enough room to upload more photos to properly show the condition of the paintwork before the detail.
