New Car Protection Treatment

Gloss Enhancement Treatment

The Gloss Enhancement Treatment is aimed at revitalising paintwork with swirl marks, fine scratches and holograms. In short, returning the paintwork to 'as new' or better condition.
This iconic 1975 Ferrari 308 GTB is one of only 150 right hand drive fibreglass-bodied models in existence. The Giallo yellow paintwork had swirl marks caused by regular washing and a few random scratches which required attention .. more here

Paint Correction Treatment

Recent Detailing Project - Ferrari 458 Italia
|
|
After collecting the Ferrari from the supplying dealer and a quick pit stop at the Goodwood Festival of Speed the owner brought this 458 Italia to UF's Detailing Studio for some much needed paintwork correction.
Upon inspection there was polish residue in various nooks and crannies where it had been 'prepared'. In addition there was dirt around the door shuts and trim - so the 458 was in desperate need of a thorough clean!
This involved washing and decontaminating the car with as little surface contact as possible to minimise any further damage to the paintwork.

Ferraris are renowned for having paintwork which is quite thin and relatively soft so paint depth readings are essential before any machine polishing can commence.
In addition to machine polishing the entire car, previous paint chip repairs were flattened back to the surface level of the paintwork to improve their appearance.
The customer had requested the car be protected with Gtechniq CS Black. An initial layer of Gtechniq Crystal Serum is applied and allowed to cure for 3 hours before an overcoat of Gtechniq EXO v2 is added ... more
