How Adrian Used Our Products
Bought new in 2001 and this procedure evolved over time as products were discovered. All over water spray including wheel arches using tap water followed by application of Meguiar’s Hot Rims. Meguiar’s soft wash, rinsed with tap water (flood). Then further rinsed using the two Aqua Gleam water filters in series, 30 ppm then 0 ppm. Large micro-fibre towel from Protex used to dry bodywork.
Waffle weave towel used to dry wheel rims. Bodywork waxed using Poor Boys paste and then this is followed by the Poorboys Black Hole treatment. Sometimes the Poorboys Quik Detailer is used instead of the Poorboys paste and Black Hole and very occasionally the clay bar used with Quik Detailer prior to the exterior process. Rims waxed and sealed using the Poor Boys products listed and the tyres treated with Meguiar’s tyre gel. Mer rubber and vinyl gel used on any exterior trim including arch protectors. Internally the Meguiar’s leather cleaner is used on occasion; Meguiar’s quick interior detailer used on plastic trim using micro-fibre cloths and Meguiar’s swabs the carpets cleaned using Meguiar’s Carpet and Interior cleaner after using the vacuum cleaner.
Once a year the exterior is treated with Meguiar’s Deep Crystal System 1, 2 and 3. If at any time scratches are found these are treated with Meguiar’s Scratch X. Engine bay cleaned using Quik interior detailer.
