Polymer Paint Sealant.

Iron Gloss Paint Sealant is a synthetic polymer designed to give 6-12 months protection.

Whilst carnauba waxes provide a fantastic level of shine, their organic nature means they succumb to harsh wash chemicals, road salts, etc, and consequently their protective qualities last around 3 months. Iron Gloss Paint Sealant cross -links during curing to form a tough bond with paintwork, resulting in 6 months plus protection.

Features & Benefits:

  • Synthetic formulation gives more durable protection
  • One application lasts 6 - 12 months
  • Gives a fantastic shine
  • Can be layered for added durability
  • Feels slick to the touch

Before applying a sealant, always ensure paintwork is properly prepared with either Lime Prime or Lime Prime Lite.

Easy to use durable sealant

I recently used this after machine polishing my white work van for its winter and hopefully summer protection! It's only been on for about 6 weeks but it's helping keep the paint clean. It's only been washed twice and the ultimate snow foam didn't stay long on it, a sign of a good sealant, I used one small drop or two per panel, so this one bottle will last a long while. It's effective Economical Easy to use Doesn't smell like food (who cares!) And beads and sheets water very well. An underrated product I feel that I highly recommend.

Easy to use

I've just used this product today, admittedly I've applied it over Dodo Juice Orange Crush carnauba wax, rather than straight on top of the paintwork. It goes on very easily, and hazes quickly too, so make sure you have your microfiber's ready to buff it off. I use a foam or terry towel applicator pad, buff off with one towel, and then a final buff with another. As it’s not a traditional wax per se, it does have a more chemical composition and smell to it, not unlike some of the competition out there, so I was slightly disappointed with that side of it, as all the other dodo products smell good enough to eat. As long as it does its job, and I shall try and report back after a few months to see if its lasted, I'd recommend this to everybody.
